Advocacy and legal practice skills are fundamental to effective legal representation, yet opportunities for practical, skills-based training remain limited for many lawyers in Pakistan.
To help address this gap, A4ID is partnering with the Continuing Legal Education Institute in Pakistan and the Pakistan Bar to deliver a virtual training programme focused on strengthening advocacy, legal drafting, case preparation, and professional practice skills.

The programme will focus on the practical skills required for effective legal practice and advocacy. Participants will explore core advocacy and courtroom techniques, including approaches to addressing the judge, handling witnesses, and conducting cross-examinations. Sessions will also examine the role of preparation and strategy in effective courtroom advocacy, drawing on practical examples and real-world scenarios.
The training will further explore legal drafting and case preparation, providing participants with insight into effective document drafting, case analysis, and the organisation of legal arguments. Particular emphasis will be placed on developing approaches that can be applied directly in practice.

The programme will be delivered by experienced practitioners from leading UK law firms working in partnership with A4ID. Drawing on their professional experience, trainers will provide practical insights and skills-based learning designed to support participants’ professional development.
