Rule of Law Expert
Fizza is A4ID’s Rule of Law Expert and Country Lead for Pakistan, spearheading the organisation’s work on the death penalty and freedom of religion and belief across Asia and East Africa. Prior to joining A4ID, she worked with human rights organisations across Europe, focusing on self-determination, international human rights law, and advocacy at major international institutions, including the European Union and the United Nations.
Previously she served as a Judicial Associate at the Supreme Court of Pakistan, contributing to a wide range of human rights cases, and has experience in private practice, having worked with law firms in Islamabad and Dubai on international trade, commercial, and employment law. Her career reflects a unique blend of hands-on human rights work and global engagement with international legal and policy frameworks.
She holds an advanced LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Leiden and an LLB from Queen Mary University of London.
