In addition to facilitating the provision of international pro bono support, A4ID aims to enhance the wider legal community's knowledge and understanding of development issues and the difficulties facing the developing world.

• A4ID's events feature representatives from a range of groups including development institutions, non-governmental organisations, corporate entities, international law firms, the bar and the judiciary.
• A4ID aims to cover chosen topics from many points of view and to bring together the legal, business and civil society communities of the developed and developing world.

A4ID circulates details of external law and development related events to its membership on a weekly basis. A4ID strongly encourages its members to engage in learning more about development issues to identify where lawyers are best able to assist.
